Our accountability to our donors is one of our highest priorities. Our goal is to use the funds entrusted to us as wise stewards. To do this requires continued monitoring of our fund distribution. Our goal is that at least 80 percent of our restricted funds are used for ministry purposes. We commit to distributing project funds to the field as quickly as possible. As restricted/designated gifts are received, they are placed in the restricted gift fund. This fund is continually monitored and monies are distributed as quickly as projects are able to use them.
One Child Matters is governed by a board of directors that maintains legal control of the organization's assets, making certain that contribution designations are honored and that the work of the organization remains consistent with its stated philosophy, purpose and mission.
