Invite a One Child Matters Ministry Representative to speak at your church or event!
Ramiro Quiroz, affectionately known as “Pastor Chubs” to thousands of youth, has been serving in ministry for over 18 years.
In addition to his work as a motivational speaker, Ramiro served the Northern Pacific Latin American District as the District Youth Director. He also traveled the Northern California District as a youth evangelist and ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He has been privileged to speak into thousands of lives across America and much of Latin America.
Ramiro is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is completing his master’s degree at Liberty University.
His life purpose is to know God and make Him known to the world. Ramiro believes every child, if given a chance, can become what God has always intended them to be. Through One Child Matters, he now has the honor of sharing how child sponsorship changes lives by providing opportunities to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and to break the generational grip of poverty.
Ramiro resides in Sacramento, CA. He is married to the love of his life, Lisa. They have three beautiful children.

Adam Braud is one of the newest members of the team but he’s not new to the ministry of One Child Matters. Although this is his first year on staff as a Ministry Representative, he has been connected to One Child Matters for five years in the field in Southern Africa, helping the other side of child sponsorship happen.
Adam is motivated by the greatest commandment: to love God and others. As he often says, “You can’t separate the two. If you love God you will love others.” He is confident that One Child Matters allows us to love children in poverty well. He has seen this for himself in a number of the countries in which One Child Matters has development centers, particularly in Swaziland.
Adam lived in Swaziland for two years and was able to see the real need for sponsorship. While there he spoke to the parents of sponsored kids who couldn’t afford to feed them or send them to school, but through the ministry of One Child Matters they were able to see their children cared for. His conclusion was clear—the power of sponsorship is multi-layered. It helps a child and helps a family, which in turn helps a community.
In his new role Adam revels in others seeing the need for sponsorship as they are empowered to change the world for one child.
Adam and Kim have been married for 13 years and they have one daughter, Zoe.
