Women’s Circle of Caring is back at it again! We are going to a new community in Maasai land. Past the project at Emarti where we have helped for 4 years is a smaller project much deeper in the bush, Olootepes. This is a project that doesn’t receive many American visitors. They struggle with water scarcity, proper nutrition, and isolation. We will be privileged to spend time with the children and mothers of our sponsored children by encouraging them, loving on them, and beginning to help with basic needs. When I visited Olootepes last spring, I was impressed with the parents of One Child Matters children. They made their own bricks to build a church where our sponsored children also gather. They are resourceful people and look forward to having American women willing to come and extend to them a hand of hope and encouragement. This trip will be the opportunity of a lifetime of being able to be in the African bush and bless the Maasai people. We will also visit the baby orphanage at New Life Home and one of the slums located in Nairobi as well. There will be many African surprises for you! You can’t leave Africa without a safari to see the African animals! You will take this journey with other women from all over the country. What an incredible opportunity to be blessed and be a blessing. I look forward to having you come with us!
